As part of our sustainability goals this year, we are looking to reduce our carbon footprint, and work towards a more sustainable future.

Our first project that we kicked off this year, is called “Bin the Bin”, and as the name suggests, we removed the under desk bin, and provided one waste bin only, alongside the recycling station for paper and plastic. We are taking a more sustainable approach to waste management in order to reduce our impact on the environment. By reducing the number of bins, and thinking about our waste, such as not using single use cups, discouraging plastic use in our supply chain and recycling where possible, we are making a difference and reducing our carbon footprint.

We also introduced more plants to the office, as a marker of our positive action of reducing our waste, and by using nature, this has improved our working environment as plants clean the air by soaking up carbon dioxide. We upcycled the bins into new planters and planted pollinator friendly shrubs.

It’s a Win Win for Bin the Bin initiative, with both our staff and the environment benefiting from this small change.🌱
