Mahony Fleet was delighted to be the main sponsor of the Raheny GAA Corporate Lunch 2026, held at Croke Park on Friday, 4th September.
The event brought together club members, supporters, local businesses and guests for a fantastic afternoon of entertainment, sporting stories and fundraising all in support of Raheny GAA and the important role the club plays in its community.
An Afternoon of Sporting Stories and Entertainment
A huge amount of work went into making the Corporate Lunch such an enjoyable occasion.
Fantastic MC and Raheny GAA club member Dave McIntyre kept proceedings moving throughout the afternoon, leading lively Q&A sessions with Rob Hennelly, Michaela Walsh, Nicky English, Joe Brolly and the other guest speakers. The panel shared plenty of insightful and entertaining anecdotes from their sporting careers and achievements.
Risteárd Cooper was certainly one of the highlights of the afternoon, bringing his trademark humour to Croke Park and providing plenty of laughs for everyone in attendance.
The entertainment continued with Eoin Conroy, who returned as auctioneer extraordinaire. Eoin helped generate plenty of enthusiasm and, importantly, raise valuable funds as guests bid for some fantastic “money can buy” experiences during the auction.

At Mahony Fleet, we believe strongly in supporting organisations that make a genuine contribution to their local communities.
Raheny GAA brings people together through sport and provides opportunities for players of all ages to participate, develop and represent their community. Events such as the Corporate Lunch also demonstrate the enormous amount of work that happens away from the pitch to support the club and its future.
We were also delighted to be joined on the day by Raheny GAA player and Denis Mahony Brand Ambassador Brian Fenton.
A Team Effort
An event of this scale doesn’t happen without a huge collective effort. Our congratulations and thanks go to the Raheny GAA organising committee, the Under 16 Girls raffle team, table and prize sponsors, panellists, guests, auction bidders and everyone who purchased raffle tickets and contributed to the success of the day.
From the sporting stories and entertainment to the auction, raffle and conversations around the tables, the Corporate Lunch was a great celebration of the community spirit behind Raheny GAA.
